I had the opportunity to speak to Venita who took a month long trip to Europe without a destination in mind. Everyday was an adventure for she and her brother. They even took some space blankets just in case. Venita revealed that while living in the moment her senses were more in tuned to the universe. In essence, her senses were more heightened than normal. Every sight, sound, smell and taste was different. It was an experience to have an unplanned day and just go with the flow. Going with the flow brings excitement and joy to her and her brother. The idea of not knowing where they were heading was their joy.
I asked her if in future travel she would change her travel plans for something more definite and she replied no. By doing that, it would take away the excitement of living in the moment. What can you learn from Venita? Living in the moment is a leap of faith. Allowing things to unfold in due time offer more excitement than being in control. Every night Venita and her brother found shelter and a place to dine. All their needs were taken care of by the divine.
